Alti-2 N3 Audio User Update

Alti-2, the manufacturer of the N3 Audio has recently investigated customer reported issues with the N3 Audio.

Here is what they have found:

The maximum power drain of the N3 Audio is higher than the N3, which means that the battery must be in a higher charge state.

The battery meter on the N3 Audio requires recalibration to accurately indicate the useful power remaining.

To ensure that there is sufficient useful power available it is essential that the N3 Audio is charged overnight before a day of jumping.

An update to the firmware to recalibrate the battery (remaining power) icon will be released in the near future.

The N3A is now discontinued, but still supported for repairs by Alti-2. Alti-2 does now offer the new Atlas Audible Visual Digital Altimeter at this link from ChutingStar.
