Main Pilot Chute Installation

Here's some info and a video of installing one type of main pilot chute. While each main pilot chute may have a slightly different attachment part, the general idea is the same.
This Cazer pilot chute came with two metal links. We prefer to substitute those two metal links with a PD Reserve Slink and a PD Main Slink. The reserve soft link is used to attach the bridle to the inside of the main D-bag. The main soft link is used to attach the end of the bridle to the top of the canopy. To assemble the Cazer pilot chute, pass the end of the kill-line and bridle from the outside of the main D-bag grommet to the inside of the main D-bag grommet. Note: The Cazer pilot chute is designed to be used with a #4 or #5 grommet only. Use the enclosed metal link or a PD Reserve Slink to secure the two loop ends of the bridle inside the main D-bag. Make sure the white kill-line stay centered between the ends of the bridle and the black type IV retention line is outside of the link. Connect the end of the kill-line/retaining line to the top of the parachute. ChutingStar Video New Main Pilot Chutes are available from ChutingStar at this link.
