GoPro HERO9/10/11/12/13 Mounts & Accessories
Just a quick note that all accessories and mounts that work or fit the HERO9, HERO10, HERO11 and HERO12 also will work and fit with the new GoPro HERO13.
The GoPro HERO13 works with all GoPro accessories that were made and designed for the HERO9, HERO10, HERO11 & HERO12, so if you see any noted as working with the HERO9 and/or HERO 10 and/or HERO11 and/or HERO12, these will also work with the HERO13.
And then since the HERO13 camera is the exact same size, shape and form as the HERO9/10/11/12, it also will fit into any GoPro mounts designed to fit the HERO9/10/11/12.
ChutingStar is updating all the HERO9/10/11/12 accessory and mount listings, names and info to reflect this, but in case you come across any that indicate it is made for the HERO9/10/11/12, just know that it will also work with the HERO13.
See the video and links below on the GoPro HERO10 and HERO9/10/11/12/13 Mounts for more information:

Keeping Your Head: Safe Cookie G3 GoPro Mounts
Skydivers LOVE their Cookie G3 helmets as well as their GoPro cameras...but combining those two together has been a bit of a gamble in the past as the full-face helmet didn't have any type of cutaway system. And a cutaway system is important at 2,000 feet when that pilot chute just got snagged on your camera mount at the end of a crazy, funneled skydive with a "save yourself" deployment.
Cookie hasn't yet developed a cutaway system for the helmet, so skydivers have resolved to either take the risk, make their own cutaway system, make a mount that is less likely to get snagged or find a mount that cuts away the camera.
The most unique mount is from Vmag, which allows a quick release via magnets. This unique mount is available as a chin or top mount

If you are having some issues with your new GoPro HERO3, the following steps below will have you back up and filming shortly! We have run into some of these issues and after extensive time on the phone with GoPro, have learned a few things that we would like to share before you jump to returning the camera. Even if you have done this before please try it again: First off what kind of memory card do you have? We have found the most reliable to be a SanDisk Class 10 30mb/s 200x. Continue reading -
GoPro SD & MicroSD Card Requirements
(Originally published by GoPro Nov. 4, 2014) It's important to use one of the recommended SD cards in your camera, or you may experience freeze-up or video corruption issues. We recommend only purchasing name brand SD cards through reputable resellers. There are both counterfeit and underperforming SD cards out in the marketplace, which can prevent proper functioning of your HD HERO camera's features. See the Memory Cards available from ChutingStar at this link. Continue reading -
First Look: Sony Action Cam
Sony is making their entrance into the action camera market with the appropriately named "Sony Action Cam". My friends over at ChutingStar loaned me one to try out and see how it stacks up. The Sony Action Cam comes in two models, one that is WiFi enabled and one that is not. I got to play with the WiFi enabled version. My first impression was that it's small and light with very few buttons. The bottom is curved so it will not stand up on it's own, you must put it in a case of some sort. In other words, you can't just set the camera on the table and press "record" because it will fall over. The clear plastic housing has a flat bottom with a standard camera screw mount, so it can be mounted onto any tripod or camera mount. Once inside the housing there is only one accessible button. Pressing that button turns the camera on and automatically starts recording, pressing it again will stop recording and the camera will automatically power off in 10 or 60 seconds depending on your settings. An attachment screws into the bottom of the housing which allows you to clip it into Sony's self adhesive mounts. This mounting system is a fixed angle system, so placement of the adhesive mounts is crucial. There is a tilt adapter that can be purchased separately that allows for angle adjustment though, and I think the Surfboard mount kit also comes with an angle adapter. Continue reading
