The Rawa R3 is the latest full face skydiving and wind tunnel helmet from Rawa Helmets of Brazil.Â
This unique full face skydiving helmet features a one button visor opening mechanism that when depressed springs the visor to the full open position. The visor can be lowered and clicked locked down with hand as well.
A magnificent lightweight design, comfortable fit and greater resistance are some of the exclusive features of the new Rawa Full Face R3 helmet.
Fiberglass fabric, which is the main structure of Rawa helmets, the Rawa R3 features a tangle of several very thin glass filaments, linked with a polyester resin. The result is a flexible, soft and light compound. At the same time, the fiberglass helmet is resistant and effective in dispersing impacts.
With this, the main difference between ABS and synthetic fibers — besides the price — is the way each type of helmet reacts to impacts. While ABS reacts faster, the fibers absorb more.
