Meet the M3...Cookie's latest low-volume, open-face helmet! The M3 is impact certified in accordance with newest European skydiving helmet safety standard.
This helmet is a great choice for instructors, canopy pilots, military jumpers, newbies, tunnel students—pretty much anyone who is looking for greater protection or just wants to look cool.
Constructed with an ABS exterior shell and an expanded poly-propylene (EPP) internal liner, the M3 comfortably holds two audible altimeters. The liner is moisture-wicking, and while durable, it’s also easily replaceable.Â
The M3 complies to the newly developed Skydiving Helmet Standard XP S 72-600. This standard requires the design of the helmet to comply with a list of technical requirements, including:
- Impact testing all areas in varying environmental conditions
- Snag testing to ensure a parachute line cannot be caught by the helmet
- One-handed buckle release under load
- Chinstrap retention
- Coverage and roll off for secure fit

Cookie designed the M3 helmet with the new Parachuting Helmet Standard AFNOR XP S 72-600 in mind. The standard focuses on features unique to skydiving and parachuting that include impact protection, snag reduction, and the ability to remove the helmet under load. The M3 also features:Â
- Sweat-resistant exchangable liner
- Three ABS external shells for a close and secure fit
- EPP multi-impact energy management
- One-handed release buckle tested under 500N Load
- Weight is 600 grams for sizes XS, Small, Medium and Large; 650 grams for XL and 2XL (+/- 50 grams)
- Two internal audible pockets

Available in sizes XS – 2XL, color choices include black, white, blue, red, lime, orange and charcoal.

Don't let the price fool you, Great value helmet.Cookie helmets are know as good skydiving helmets and this one is no different but a much lower price point. Top quality, well fitting.
No camera mounts to snag so it makes a great helmet for a students.

Lightweight and Comfortable - Reduces Noise TooVery light weight and comfortable. The padding around the ears is soft but still does a good job of muffling airplane noise and wind noise. They run a little small. I used one of the DZs Protec helmets and a size Small fit me fine but I needed to get a Medium M3. I can't comment on reliability because I've only been usinng it a couple months but it seems like it's well put together.

Impact rated!Love it so far, the quality looks good, the velcro bits used are high quality, the padding is thick but soft where it needs to be (around the ears).
I love the fact that it's impact rated. Might give me an extra chance if I bounce my noggin of the ground/tree/plane/someone else.
I bought a brilliant pebble with it, and it does feel a bit thicker in the ear pouch, but doesn't bother me too much. Not idea though.
The helmet looks a bit bigger that the regular non-impact rated helmets, but not that much. Got mine in blue, love the color!Posted on

Awesome helmet!It looks so good and wearing it feels great. The padding is unexpectedly soft and comfortable but it fits very securely with a tight fit. The liner removes really easily. Great quality and all around design!
