The ChutingStar Gear Bag for skydivers!
The ChutingStar Gear Bag was developed after Dakine stopped making the popular Cargo Pack Gear Bag, and has been further improved upon and redesigned! It is modeled after that popular gear bag, but we've added extra features and reinforcements making it one of the best gear bags in the industry.
Now included is a deeper top zipper pocket that will fit all standard size logbooks, including all versions of the ChutingStar StarLogs. We've also added extra stitching reinforcements on all straps to increase the strength and durability of the gear bag.
Our ChutingStar Skydiving Gear Bag has two large compartments. The compartment in back is for your rig and the front compartment has ample room for your skydiving gear accessories and jumpsuits. Many people even put their helmet inside the back or front compartment as well.
This large gear bag has side straps to keep the rig or accessories from hanging low off your back by compressing the contents to the backpack straps. There is a top, center zipper pocket for your logbook, wallet. phone, glasses or other similar items accessible from the outside. Carry handles are located on the top, side and bottom front. Hideaway padded shoulder straps and a small chest strap are included. Your luggage tag or business card can be stored in the frosted see-thru pocket on the back.
Made with large-tooth zippers and 900D Polyester + PVC materials.
ChutingStar's Gear Bag is manufactured in a size of 24" x 16" x 13". It will fit most rigs up to a canopy size of 230 with plenty of extra room for multiple jumpsuits and accessories.
Available in black only with ChutingStar logos and zipper tags.

Every skydiver needs one of these! This gear bag is very sturdy with heavy duty zippers on both rig and accessories compartments complimented with easy to grip large rubber pull tabs. All seams are finished with binding tape so there are no raw edges exposed that could unravel over time. There is a hidden zipper pocket at the top inside of the accessories compartment. The accessories compartment is roomy enough for jumpsuit(s) and extra stuff like sweatshirt, thermal underwear, gloves, goggles and such. The rig compartment is lined with what appears to be a water proof tarp like material and should accommodate most sport rigs packed or not. There are 3 sturdy handles for lifting, loading or carrying. The backpack has adjustable shoulder straps and allow for toting on one or both shoulders with a chest strap if you need it otherwise the shoulder straps can be tucked away in a zippered compartment. Adjustable cinch straps with squeeze buckles allow the pack to be compressed or expanded as needed. There is also a rubberized see through pouch for owner information or business card. The embroidered ChutingStar logo on back and one side looks good. I would definitely recommend this gear bag.

Very satisfiedI bought this bag to avoid my rig getting wet by the rain, very spacious. Fits my j1 150 perfectly and it looks great too

Nice bag overall but needs some workThe buckle slider that goes across your chest broke on the first use. The layout of the shoulder straps makes it awkward to carry on your shoulders. However, I like the adjustable straps on the outside of the bag to allow you to compress everything down. This allowed me to use it as carry-on as I had no desire to send my rig through checked baggage. It would also be nice with a couple extra inside or ourside pockets for pull-up cords, glasses, log book, etc.

Awesome gear bag at an excellent price! This is an awesome gear bag. My Wings container (210 main, 190 reserve) fits with room to spare. I'm able to fits two helmets, and a few other accessories in with my rig, and probably have room to put a jumpsuit in there (whenever I get one). There is actually a small pocket within the second large fold, which provides enough room to store your altimeter and googles. The bag itself is incredibly durable, easy to grip and move, and comfortable to haul around on your back. An awesome gear bag at an awesome price!

Decent, but flawedI think the biggest oversight in the design of this bag is no smaller internal pockets to store things like altis, goggles, your keys/wallet, etc. It just has the 2 big pockets, and everything goes in together. It would have been really nice to have separate pockets for small items. It's something so basic that I didn't even question when I bought it, I just assumed they'd of course be there.
The bag overall seems plenty durable, except that the tab on one of the zippers tore into 2 pieces almost immediately after I started using it. I have to use the other zipper to open the bag now.
So it's a decent bag, but I don't think I'd buy this one again.
ChutingStar Note: The current version of this bag does have a small inner pocket in the inside top of the bag for altimeters, goggles, keys/wallet and the like. Plus you can put items in the back pocket that hold the shoulder straps.Posted on

Just greatMy rig fits perfectly inside the standard size bag, and I can add all my jump clothing for the week-end.
And If I don't pack too much stuff inside, I can fly it in cabin with me when taking the plane :)Posted on

Perfect BagThis gear bag is just great: i can easily put my rig in there, got 2 jumpsuits, swimmingpants, a lot of accessories and even my g3 in there and there is still quite some space left. The straps at the sides help to keep the profile low if you don't have that much stuff in there. It's also very comfortable to carry.

Great Bag.Large holds a ton of stuff and is very durable for heavier loads.
Can fit a container and quite a few jumpsuits/helmets/camera gear and still has a little room.
I can actually fit both of my small containers and other gear in the large bag which is awesome.Posted on
