This replacement screw-in lens is suitable for the FT60, V.10 or the FT50/FT60 combo altimeters from Viplo.
ChutingStar stocks and sells the FT50/FT60 combo altimeter, which is the FT50 internal altimeter in an FT60 casing (which has this screw-in lens). If you have a complete FT50 altimeter, this lens will not fit as the FT50 casing lens pops in from the inside of the altimeter and does not screw in.
This lens also fits the V.10 Viplo altimeter.
This is a clear lens and is easy to install. It is important not to push down on the lens when you are removing the old lens or inserting a new one, pushing down locks the lens into the thread and makes it difficult to turn. If you have any problem in removing a lens we suggest you use a "sticky pad" such as the type used for removing the lids of jars.
For the FT60, V.10 or FT50/FT60, you can also take off the back plate to remove the altimeter from the inside and grip both sides of the lens to remove and install. Then just put the altimeter and back plate back together before use.
