This weight belt from ParaSport Italia is comfortable and well-built. Designed for changing weights quickly between loads or outside the wind tunnel.
A simple design, it is made of padded Cordura for an excellent comfort during freefall. The easy to use and 100% reliable closing system, together with the equally distributed weight pockets, make this belt comfortable during opening shocks too.
Weights pockets run around, held in place by vertical seams and a zipper running all around the length, so that the weights won't move or slide out in any flight condition. Weight pouches are supplied separately.
A zippered pocket with 8-10 sections (depending on size) are used to hold the weight pouches (available separately). The weights can be added or subtracted without removing the belt. This weight belt has more structure than most and molds to the shape of your body.
Weights in for this belt are manufactured by ChutingStar and can be added to the order. This belt will hold either our 1-pound or 1.5-pound weight sizes.Â
Note: The 1.5-pound weights are designed to max-out the pockets and take some time to get them fully seated in each pocket. Once the weights have filled out the pocket, you'll then fold over the fabric at top, pushing it down as you zip it shut. If you want the weights to be an easier in/out, you'll want to use the 1-pound weights.
Sizes Available:
- Small (23.5-28 inches)
- Medium (28-33.5 inches)Â
- Large (33.5-37 inches)
- The small has 8 weight pockets, the medium 9 weight pockets and the large 10 weight pockets.
- Lengths are approximate, and refer to actual measurements taken over the jumpsuit and other clothes generally used when skydiving.
- Measurement range also varies according to the number of weight pouches installed.
Available in black only.Â

Love it!As mentioned, chutingstar.com is great about exchanging if the first size is too small, which was my case as well. Some of the pockets for weights are small. Otherwise, no complaints. I recommend ordering a size larger than usual & using 2-pound weights max in the smallest pockets (which I purchased elsewhere, because I couldn't get chutingstar.com's 1.5-pounds into the smallest pockets, sorry!). I've got 11 pounds crammed into 6 of the 8 pockets of my medium, and it works great! My last one was a Deluxe Belt, & with 12 pounds in it, one of the snaps for tightening broke - not a problem with this belt though, it's got one thick, heavy-duty snap. I would definitely recommend this product, I'm about to order some more weights for it!

Good product in generalOverall, I love this weight belt for general purposes. Good quality and felt comfortable.
Bonus for ChutingStar willing to exchange for a different size at no cost.
Like the other review mentioned, fitting the weight pouches is a bit cumbersome. Mine maxed out at 15 lbs.Posted on

Get the biggest size possibleOrdered a medium. It fit, but the design is poor. I could clip the buckle, but the sewn-in velcro doesn't catch. It would only catch if you had the belt at it's smallest range. There's no overlap. Also, the pockets are small so you have to really fight to get the weights in there.
