It helpsIf you want to keep your rig slightly cleaner (and covered) while packing outside this really helps.
I’d prefer if it wasn’t black and color options were a choice.
I’d also prefer if the riser straps were snaps and not Velcro.

Gets the job done.I'm not much for dragging my rig across the floor when packing. This mat has Velcro straps that hold your risers to the mat so the mat moves with the rig if you do choose to drag it. Rear portion is padded which is nice. It also has a little storage pocket for extra pull-up cords or closing loops. Nice mat but overpriced.

Very useful, a tad expensive.It really is good on the knees. It's a bit pricey and kind of a pain to carry around. However, depending on your packing area, and if you have bad knees like me, very helpful and I would recommend.

Best packing mat on the market.I bought this packing mat about 3-4 years ago and I use it for every packjob. It holds the risers in place and also protects the knees. The quality is high and it will last many years.
