The G4 Visors have an anti-fog inside and anti-scratch outside. The G4 visor is tested for its optical qualities, has been certified and carries a CE mark. The visors are certified for optics, anti‐fog and resistance to penetration. The tinted and blue mirror visors are tested for the ability to prevent sun glare. The test standard for the sun glare is ISO 12312‐1:2013 and the tinted and blue mirror visors are certified under Filter Category 2 (Good Protection against Sun Glare). The visors have an impact rating under the Skydiving Helmet Screen ECP-001 06/2019 at 90m/s, and also passed tests on fogging, luminance, optical quality and UV.
Note: The visor is very simple to remove, but do watch the videos at the bottom of this listing for the step-by-step process as it is possible to damage the springs if the visor is installed corrrectly.
- Undo the two side plates screws on both sides of the visor.
- Remove these plates and slide the visor forward.
- Slide the new visor back on all the way flush with the helmet.
- Install the plates by lining up the tab and then the screw holes.
- Screw plates down.
These visors fit the Cookie G4 Helmet only.
The colored visors are all a light tint. The orange mirror is the lightest tint of all of them, and similar to "shooting" glasses. The tinted is a smoke color, and is a lighter smoke than the G3 tinted/smoke version. The blue mirror color is slightly darker to look through than the tinted/smoke.
The photochromatic adapts to changing light conditions; darkening when exposed to sunlight and lightening when light increases.

Orange tint visorOrdered the orange tinted version. Great fast shipping and turn around. The color of the visor is lighter and could be darker. Has a pink tint as well. Still like the color. Easy swap

Acquired a G4 Lime Green so, I just had to get a visor!So, I got the tinted visor to go with my lime green G4 helmet! Talk about Style’n! First off it’s not so dark when in free fall others can still see my facial expressions and what not. It is tinted enough though that I haven’t had to where sunglasses either which is a huge plus!

Love the blue tint.As others have noted the color is not as dark as the picture shows but I had seen the orange and blue visors in person so knew what to expect. I really like the blue tint the most of the three options. Very easily to install compared to the G3.

DepressingI bought the tinted visor and the orange visor and they both were nothing like I was expecting. The tinted one is a clear visor with a very slight grey tint on it. The orange visor is pink and very see-through. The pictures were very misleading and nothing like the actual product. That paired with $60 shipping that took over a month to arrive is not what I was expecting from ChutingStar.

Do not buy if you want the tinted version!The actual quality of the visor seems great but cookie missed the mark with the actual tinting of the visor.....as in they just didn’t tint it. I ordered the tinted version expecting for the same level of tint I have on my G3. They were not even close. The G4 visor has a slight tint at best. It is nowhere near what the picture shows. I have a black granite countertop and I was able to easily read my shipping label I placed under my helmet through the shield. My wife even asked why I got another clear lens since the one I had was just fine. Really disappointed. I would stay away from the tinted version if you are looking for actual tint.
The G4’s new design makes it difficult to wear sunglasses(gators) comfortably. I was hoping the tinted visor would allow me to not wear sunglasses but as of now I will have to look to find another pair of sunglasses that are more comparable with the helmet or hope they come out with a darker visor.Posted on
