4-Week CYPRES 2 Changeable 1-pin AAD Rental.

This Airtec CYPRES 2 Automatic Activation Device is available for rental. This is a Changeable mode unit with a 1-pin cutter. This unit is in-date on all factory-maintenance through May 2025. It is SN C7461. A current manual is included with the rental unit.

Standard settings for the CYPRES Modes (activation altitude can be changed by the user, if desired, see here).

• Student mode is set to fire at 29 mph and 750 ft AGL.
• Expert mode is set to fire at 78 mph and 750 ft AGL
• Tandem mode is set to fire 78 mph and 1900 ft AGL
• Speed mode is set to fire at 102 mph and 750 ft AGL

Airtec's CYPRES 2 Automatic Activation Device unit is today’s industry standard for AADs. CYPRES units have been commercially available the longest of the three major sport skydiving AAD products. CYPRES is an acronym for CYbernetic Parachute RElease System.

Rental Terms

Rental:
This CYPRES rental from ChutingStar is for 4 weeks, which is calculated from the date you receive it from ChutingStar to the date you ship it back to ChutingStar. A prepaid UPS return shipping label is included with the initial $80 4-week rental fee. You will be emailed a reminder of the due date based on the date shipped from ChutingStar. Return the unit and manual in the same padded box.
Payment:
For fastest processing, pay with a credit card and click the box to save your card information when checking out. For other payment options, we will contact you to get credit card information on file before the unit will be shipped to you.
Fee Info:
By completing the order for a rental CYPRES unit you agree to authorize ChutingStar Enterprises, Inc to charge your card on file for late fees, renewal of rental period, any loss or damage to the rental unit and/or cutter replacement, if needed. Late fees will be assessed in the amount of $7 for each day the rental unit is not returned past the due date. Renewal rental is $60 for 4 additional weeks. You must contact us prior to the 4-week expiration to extend the rental. The unit is inspected upon return. If there are any damages, we will contact you.
Agreement:
I hereby authorize ChutingStar Enterprises, Inc. to charge my credit card in accordance with the terms outlined above. I certify that I am an authorized user of the credit card ChutingStar has on file and that I will not dispute the charges with my credit card company as long as the transaction corresponds with the terms indicated on this form. This authorization will remain in effect until the rental CYPRES unit is returned to ChutingStar and the inspection completed.
