L&B has listened to skydivers across the globe and has answered the call with OPTIMA II™! The OPTIMA II™ is a more advanced audible altimeter with extremely accurate altitude detection.

OPTIMA II™ is so accurate that it has an added set of warning beeps that can be set for a specific altitude during normal and high speed landing approaches. This feature has been added to aid both swoopers and conservative pilots alike find the “sweet spot” for initiating landing sequences. Great Audible. I have two in my Tonly Speed helmet. Always work and never had any issues. Wish the prices were lower but that is at no fault to Chuting Star

I can not remember sequence of steps to change the height of the signal. Every time re-learning instruction. I decided to buy his wife the same altimeter. Maybe she will remember and will help me.

Does what it's supposed to do! I got this one rather than the quatro because my little brain can barely process 3 alarms let alone 4. The low speed alarms work great, though I don't use them religiously I do like that they are there.

This thing is awesome. A little confusing at first sorting through all the settings, but pretty quick to understand. Im really happy with the canopy alarms and the ability to alter the tone and volume. Definitely worth the money. It was highly recommended from other jumpers I asked, certainly was not disappointed.

This audible works great. This has been extremely helpful through my progression in my first year. Having just started in the summer of 2015, my biggest concern was correct break off altitude, and setting myself up for a pattern and landing. With the multiple audible alerts both in freefall and under canopy, its a great tool that has helped train me to recognize the sight picture at various altitudes. I believe everyone should have one and of the three I've tried, I like this one the best. The batteries seem to last a good long time and L&B service is amazing. Simple to use and understand.

Works well not to hard to use and multiple settings its all you really need only thing is the low battery signal comes up fast but my low battery signal has been on for over 500 hundred jumps and still going strong. i think it made it over 800 jumps the last time i replaced it while still saying low batt

Jumping without audibles is almost not possible today anymore: whether you're filming, freeflying, formation skydiving or anything else this audible always reminds you when it's time to say goodbye. Very good device, nice to program, very easy to use, extremely accurate and helpful. Made my life a lot easier and safer. The great custumer service just adds to this great device. Would never use any other audible anymore.

I recently got my L&B package, that included the OPTIMA II, i started setting it up for my jumps and i found out that is perfect, user friendly, easy to set up, it has a wide range of custom settings for free fall or canopy flight. When i started jumping it i decided not to jump without it anymore, it just made my life easier.

As an aerial photographer/videographer I cannot afford to miss that point for my team to look at my altimeter (although I do not recommend relying solely on one's audible). The preset decent alarms are never stray from any of my other audible or visual instrumentation. The Optima II has three separate banks to enter audible alarms. Within each bank, they have three different alarms. I no longer have to readjust my alarms if I am shooting a 4-Way RW team on one jump and a freefly jump the next, I just switch between banks. For the jumper still gaining experience with flying their canopy to initiation points, three low-speed canopy alarms are available to assist in teaching. For the competitive swooper, the canopy alarms can be set to enter the perfect swoop corridor for setup all while keeping one's eyes off of their wrist-mounted altimeter and scanning for other traffic.
