After about 30 jumps the base mount simply disappeared on a jump. The bolts were still in place so the bolt heads must have pulled through the plastic. Luckily I had been jumping with just the base mount attached and not with a camera. There were no collisions or anything out of the ordinary during the jump. It is also worth noting that the hardware does not use locking nuts or locktite so there is the potential for those to back off as well. Hopefully some revisions can be made to this mount. Maybe if a metal sleeve were used on the bolt holes it would prevent the bolts from being pulled through the plastic. I can only imagine if a camera was mounted to it, it would have fallen off much sooner.
