Good hand mountWhile I prefer the wrist mount, this one is very nice for a hand mount. Does the job!

Does the job!Came with my Ares altimeter - I actually prefer the back hand finger mount to the elastic wrist/arm mount because the back of the hand has a better accessible view without a lof of movement. I used this mount until I attached a mount to the back of my glove. The single finger loop causes a little bit of movement whereas a double finger loop would be more stable. Not sure if its worth the price, however I would paid more for this than the elastic wrist mount.

It comes free with the Viso!It comes standard with the Viso II+! I mostly wear the elastic wrist mount, but this has proven to be good on cold days when getting the wrist mount over the layers isn't worth it and uncomfortable for me. It is adjustable, so it fits over any glove. I

Don't botherOne of these came with my Ares. It's useless. I have medium sized hands and this mount will not hold the Ares securely on the back of my hand. Might work if you have very large hands?
The rubber pocket system on all Viso/Ares mounts is great, but for a hand-mount, it should be attached to something that hugs the hand like Parasport's Aeronaught 16, which also happens to have velcro that does not shred your jumpsuit's cuff. The L&B velcro is not so nice to your jumpsuit.Posted on
