Great and easy to read!Been using the Viso-II for the last 22 jumps and I'm loving this altimeter. It's easy to read in freefall and under canopy regardless of the angle I'm looking at it. The only thing I dislike about this altimeter is it's not user friendly with the buttons/interface and the box doesn't come with the full manual so you MUST download the pdf online. Out of the box you'll have no idea how to turn it off or make adjustments to basic information.

Great Visibility and Accuracy. This is a fantastic digital altimeter. I was a little concerned about the screen size compared to the Ares but I have had absolutely no problems seeing it regardless of lighting conditions. I’ve used it for about 70 jumps now and I have no complaints. Like other L&B products the navigation / setup menus are a little confusing but you really only do that once so I can’t really knock the product. The product is remarkably accurate. When climbing with other jumpers you will notice everyone’s Viso says exactly the same altitude.

Jumpers need this!!Thoroughly impressed by the VISO 2+. When I ordered it, I was worried it was going to be cheaper plastic, but it's not! It actually has a little weight to it and just an all around solid product. The amount of information the VISO 2+ holds is INSANE. Great for if you are jumping multiple times a day at the DZ and go back later to check the fine details of your jumps. Well made by Larsen & Brusgaard!

Best visual on the marketBest visual alti on the market. Easy to read display that gives you all the info you need in freefall (i.e. your altitude). Works great as a log book and keeping track of your freefall times and speeds as well. Not intuitive at all to navigate the different modes and settings, but just keep the provided roadmap with your gear and you'll have no problems.

My alti out there! In my opinion it’s the best you can buy. Have been rocking this altimeter for a few years now with a wrist strap. It’s low profile but does the job and is easy to read!

Good Product But Absolutely Horrible Customer ServiceI've owned my Viso for about 150 jumps so far. I like it. It's easy to read and reasonably consistent. The listed deployment altitude as viewed in the logbook is off. It logs the altitude about 75% of the way through the deployment process so if you deploy at 4000' it's probably going to say you deployed around 3300'. None the less, overall it's a useful tool.
The problem is L&B's customer service is absolutely non-existent. I've been trying to contact them for two months and they will not help me. I've contacted them through their website numerous times and they never respond. I've tried to connect with them on Facebook and while I was able to get someone to talk to me, I never got an answer to any of my questions and since they have not responded. Regardless of how good the product is I can’t in good faith write a good review for a product made by a company that does not respond to their customers.

best altiI love this alti ! Really good, easy to read !
Plenty of colors for the mount, that makes it customisable.
Maybe they should sell them with a wrist mount instead of a hand mount... ?Posted on
