The Alti-2 Altimaster Galaxy is the skydiving industry standard for visual analog altimeters.

The Galaxy has an altitude range of 18,000 feet MSL, marked in 250 foot increments. The face of Galaxy is highlighted with a yellow caution and red warning arc that starts at 3,000 feet. The Galaxy contains a durable mechanism made from temperature compensating metals for minimal friction and precision accuracy.
This altimeter by Alti-2 includes a wrist strap with finger-loop. A Velcro wrist mount is available separately from ChutingStar.
The face of the Altimaster Galaxy is currently only available with a glow-face background. The glow face is phosphorescent and provides a background glow to assist in low light conditions. The glow lasts over 2 hours in complete darkness.

Most durable and reliable altimeter. Which is also the most afordable.Bought one of these as my first altimeter out of the AFF course. Was the most reliable, and simple altimeter recommended for students and new jumpers.
Did almost 100 jumps in it before moving to a digital altimeter.
It was great! Simple, reliable and withstood a lot of punishment.

Modern Classic, Reliable, Affordable, Work-Horse of the Industry.If you are a skydiver there's probably a 99% chance you've used one of these. These are the standard for most DZ's to use for student training, and people love and continue using them. I have purchased two of these in two different colors (orange and blue) and they are tried and true. Can't really go wrong for the price and they are basically bulletproof (just not waterproof lol). I've never heard of anyone regretting buying one of these... even if you change to a digital altimeter, people wear both or keep them as a backup/loaner.

Reliable AltimeterTried and true! Whether you're just off student status or have thousands of jumps, you can't really go wrong with this altimeter. No batteries, just set it to zero on the ground and get on the plane. Can't really get any more reliable than that
