The Alti-2 Altimaster Galaxy is the skydiving industry standard for visual analog altimeters.

The Galaxy has an altitude range of 18,000 feet MSL, marked in 250 foot increments. The face of Galaxy is highlighted with a yellow caution and red warning arc that starts at 3,000 feet. The Galaxy contains a durable mechanism made from temperature compensating metals for minimal friction and precision accuracy.
This altimeter by Alti-2 includes a wrist strap with finger-loop. A Velcro wrist mount is available separately from ChutingStar.
The face of the Altimaster Galaxy is currently only available with a glow-face background. The glow face is phosphorescent and provides a background glow to assist in low light conditions. The glow lasts over 2 hours in complete darkness.

Good KitLove the classic look and easy to read face, even the glow style. Easily adjustable when necessary and very accurate. The finger loop is really nice too and feels more solid a than single finger loop.

Great AltimeterThis is a great altimeter. The dial is very easy to see I. Free fall. The color coded section make it even easier to realize when you are at certain altitudes. So far the face plate has held up very well even though I have smacked it on things a few times. Great product.

Great product !I'm a new skydiver about 50 jumps, lots of people recommended this one and after using it i know why !
its very simple, easy to read and very reliable, it holds very well in my hands and it doesn't feel bulky, i also saw lots of experienced skydivers using it and i don't think i will be changing it any time soon.Posted on

Reliable, easy to use, and good price!Absolutely love analog altimeters as they register quicker in my mind. Has been very comfortable wearing over a glove. Only issue I have seen is it has been quick to scratch on the lens. I have about 50 jumps with it and have no issues seeing through but I could imagine after a couple hundred it might get distracting.
