The Conceptus Bite Switch is compatible with the Canon Digital Rebel, XT, XS, XSI and XTI, as well as most Canon film cameras. This switch is also compatible with the HypEye D Pro Expansion Kit.
This is a mouth-operated, totally electronic shutter release for use with any still camera with a remote shutter release jack. The Bite Switch is comprised of a durable, sealed tubular switch assembly measuring 1.5 inches long by 1/4 inch diameter, a 36 inch coaxial wire, and a 2.5mm plug with a 90 degree elbow bend. During use, the switch is placed in the mouth with the wire pointing either to the right or left. The Bite Switch is securely sealed and waterproof. Works great!Great camera switch! If you are using this as a first timer, you will definitely bite through it when figuring out how hard you need to bite it. Other than that, it works great!

Good while it works, but may fail pretty quickThis is supposed to be the "weaker" of all three styles of switch (blow, tongue and bite). I saw that first hand. The switch lasted about 50 jumps before it broke internally and got stuck in a "always pressed" mode. I am ordering another one to try it again, but for people doing a lot of camera work, I have to recommend a tongue or a blow switch, which will probably last much longer.
Other than that, the switch works really well (it was working perfectly for me until it broke). The switch is large enough that you won't have any trouble holding it during the jump, and there's some feedback to indicate you have actually pressed it, although to really feel you have pressed means you pressed too hard.Posted on

Good productGood cable length, and the rubber seems to be quite durable. Sensitive switch, so clenching down with teeth isn't necessary.
