Schier Concepts began in 2014 when founder, Dan Schiermeyer, began looking for a way to prevent his GoPro from moving in its mount while skydiving. Having identified his problem, Dan, a Manufacturing Engineer, began the design and prototyping of a replacement for the standard thumbscrew attachment that comes with the camera. Dan tested his prototypes and made adjustments until he was satisfied that he had developed a product that would meet the needs of skydivers and extreme athletes everywhere. In late 2015 Schier Concepts began, and the Schier Clamp was officially born.

Love this clampThe BEST GoPro accessory, hands down! Being able to conveniently adjust my camera super quick without having to take off my gloves is MEGA awesome, and I could not do that with the original GoPro screw. I'm also very stoked to be able to have the color options. Great product!!

I highly recommend that everyone who owns a GoPro buys atleast one of these awesome clamps!The Schier Clamp has been the easiest way for me to adjust the angle on my GoPros and swap them between helmets. It also has the smallest chance of being a snag hazard out of every mounting option I have seen. Awesomely thoughtful design and extremely easy installation. Ill be buying a few more for each one of my cameras!

Simple, functional, elegantFantastic product. Lower profile, way easier to adjust and tighten compared to the standard thumb screw, and most importantly, plenty of colors to pick from so you can match your gear (since we all know that's really what's the most important). Been using once since its original run, and I don't think I've ever had the camera slip from the angle I set it at...can't say the same for the GoPro thumb screw.

Excellent.The Schier Clamp is SO much better than the standard GoPro thumb screw. Super easy to use, super durable, comes in a bunch of colors, and makes adjusting and securing my camera so much faster and easier. Highly recommend.
