Strong Para-Cushion 305 Cross Country XC Chair Pilot Emergency Parachute System.
The 305 Cross-Country XC is designed to be used in airplanes where your seat is reclined. Very popular with Glider Pilots, 305 is the longest and thinnest Para-Cushion Model, a back parachute with an L-shaped lightly-padded chair. (There is no parachute canopy material in the chair portion.)

The Para-Cushion 305 Chair measures 42" long (105 cm) by 16" ( 40 cm) wide by 2.5" (6cm) to 1" (2.5cm) thick and weighs approximately 16.5 lb. (7.5 kg).
This back mounted container is built to extend from the shoulders of the user to just above the knees. This long design allows the parachute to be packed in a larger area keeping the system as thin as possible. Spacer Foam padding throughout the system allows the user to comfortably sustain flight for many long hours.

Parachutes Types
The 26' Mid-Lite is a highly reliable 24 gore canopy, tested to a 5000 lb shock load, built to withstand the rigors of an emergency bail-out. In production since 1987 the Mid-Lite has proven time and time again that it is the most rugged and reliable reserve you can own!
The Lo-Po Lite is a smaller, lighter emergency canopy that still features all of the strength, performance, and durability that Strong canopies are known for. Lighter weight than the other emergency canopies, Lo-Po Lite packs up significantly smaller. A perfect companion to AcroPro, the smallest and lightest Para-Cushion, it's a perfect fit for smaller Pilots and Passengers with a system weight of 15 ½ lbs.
Certified to FAA TSO C-23f, the 30 Foot Conical is rated for exit weights up to 300 lbs and deployment speeds up to 175 knots. Available in 303, 304, 305, 306, 311. Standard in L-39 Chair.
