The Conceptus Tongue Switch is compatible with the Canon Digital Rebel, XT, XS, XSI and XTI, as well as most Canon film cameras. This switch is also compatible with the HypEye D Pro Expansion Kit.
This is a mouth-operated, totally electronic shutter release for use with any still camera with a remote shutter release jack. The Tongue Switch is comprised of a 1/2 inch pressure-sensitive switch mechanism, a 1 inch flattened and bite-resistant stem, a 36 inch coaxial wire, and a 2.5mm plug with a 90 degree elbow bend. It is configured so that the pressure-sensitive switch face is always oriented towards the user's tongue, regardless of the direction of insertion into the mouth, thus allowing the wire to be routed to the left or right. The Tongue Switch is securely sealed and waterproof. Since the switch is mouth-operated, it does not interfere with grips on exits or in freefall, or with canopy deployment, control and emergency procedures.

Great tongue switch...I am very happy with my Conceptus products... I like this trigger over some of the bite or blow switches. Seats well and supa easy to use.

Great plug, very reliableI am preferential to this trigger over some of the bite or blow switches. Personal preference....maybe. I do like the security of this plug being seated in the corner of my mouth while the tension of my helmet holds it in place. I run a myriad of wiring inside my helmet with custom connectors and wiring and this switch has never failed to fire 13 DSLR's at a time. I am very happy with my Conceptus products.
