I replaced my cheapo foam-lined goggles with these and I will never go back! The old ones worked fine so I didn't bother to replace them until the band wore out. However, the first time I jumped with the Arch goggles it was a night and day difference. As soon as the door opened there was zero fogging. The seal fit great and I didn't feel any air leakage. They are very comfortable and they don't dig in at all. The band is very well-made and stays tight. The frames seem very durable so the only part that you will need to replace is the lens, which costs less than the cheapo goggles. I have a feeling these things will pay for themselves in time.

Be mindful that the manufacturer states that sometimes they don't seal as well on people with narrow faces. For me though they are amazing.

I like the goggles. Very comfortable. They don't hurt from being too tight, and don't become too loose from stretching them when pulling them down. The price is right, especially for replacement lenses, if only shipping didn't drive the price of lenses up. The grey sunglass/mirrored lenses are great. They work great on cloudy and sunny days, eliminating the need for a clear lens (obviously according to preference). I'm warm natured, so googles fog up easily for me. I bought regular mirrored grey lenses and vented clear lenses. I don't want to switch to the clear lenses, but the mirrored lenses fog up too easily for me. I want to try to vented lenses. But overall, I recommend these.

  4. Great performance, but a little uncomfortable, and a bit overpriced as a result.

These goggles are good to go. I pulled them out of the box and found them nestled in a microfiber bag not unlike Oakley sunglasses. First thing I thought when I pulled them out was "these look sharp". Aesthetically speaking, they're great. Good stitching on the band, and the hardware looks like it's stout enough to last a long time. I'd like to see a few more anchor points from the frame to the lens though. I can see the rubber warping over time and not forming to the lens. Think that old otterbox case that doesn't fit around the plastic any more. I took the stickers off the lenses and tried them on. Sadly the first thought had nothing to do with the optics at all. The first thought was "OUCH!" The frame feels quite stiff out of the box, and the venting cuts in the rubber feel like they're poking and/or pinching my face. I'm hoping that over time it will soften up (the good part of warping and wear). Once I got past the ouch factor, looking through the lens was next. Not super high definition optics by any means, but they get the job done without serious distortion issues. I wear contacts, so air is a big deal for my eyes. Too much, and I'm not going to be able to see through my dried up contacts. Too hard, and well, they're just gone. Knowing that, I was anxious to see how the goggles did when I got to take them for their maiden voyage doing some tunnel time. We sat in the holding area rotating through people over the course of an hour. During that time, while I was resting, I didn't get much fogging. I think I maybe had to give a quick fan once, and that was it. My fellow experienced diver wasn't doing so well with his goggles, so that made me happy for the purchase. The goggles were still a bit uncomfortable, and I found myself shifting them from time to time to keep the pressure points down. Once I was in the tunnel though, everything was great. There was zero fogging, and the air was just fine on my contacts too.

All in all, they do the trick. I'd say they're a bit overpriced for what they are, but it's not horrible considering they're keeping your eyes safe. They perform a TON better than the cheap goggles provided for students for obvious reasons. A bit more comfortable, and a little clearer optics, and the price tag would be spot on.

I'm happy with the purchase regardless of the setbacks, and I look forward to taking these guys out for more time in the sky, and the tunnel.

I did my first jump in 24 years and tried these goggles. Blew my contacts out right away. I guess the vents let too much air in. Glad the last reviewer loves them but they didn't work for me. They would be great goggles for someone not wearing lenses.

I bought these goggles when they were first introduced, and have not worn another goggle since. The frame is a soft rubber that is very comfortable and tight fitting (my contact lenses are happy), but does not leave lines on my face, and its design keeps them from fogging up easily like several others I've tried. They are also the perfect size to provide excellent field of vision with no blind spot at the bridge of the nose.

They may seem pricey at first, but considering they don't have foam that will wear out, and the lens replacements are only ~$20, they are absolutely worth the initial investment.

On top of this, their customer service responds as fast and friendly as any I've dealt with. No complaints here!
