Girl Skateboards is a Torrance, California based skateboarding company that was started in August 1993 by Rick Howard, Mike Carroll, Megan Baltimore, and Spike Jonze. Their primary product is professionally endorsed skateboard decks. Both the Girl and Chocolate teams were involved with the filming of the Pretty Sweet video production. The video includes parts from the team members of both brands and was the first full-length Girl Distribution Company video to feature a part from Sean Malto. Girl is part of the Girl Distribution family, which also includes Chocolate Skateboards, Lakai Footwear, Royal Trucks, and Four Star Clothing, Crailtap, Ruby Republic, and Skate Mental.
This is the skateboard deck only. To complete a full skateboard assembly, you will also need grip tape, trucks, hardware, bearings and wheels, which can be ordered individually or as a full gear package in a separate listing on ChutingStar-Skate.
Note: Desired skateboard width can vary based on skate style, body size and individual preference. But in general, 7.5"-7.8" widths work great for younger skaters, street skaters or those needing a board that is easier to maneuver for tricks. The 8"-8.75" width are great for larger skaters, skate filmers, vert/ramp skating or cruising. For more assistance, contact us directly.
