Description

Rubber bands from ChutingStar are manufactured by Keener. Sold in 1-pound bags.

These rubber bands are the exact size recommended and used by Performance Designs (large and small) and UPT (tandem).

For most sport skydiving rigs (Spectra, HMA, Technora and Vectran), ChutingStar uses large rubber bands for the locking stows and small rubber bands for the remaining stows. For sport skydiving rigs with larger Dacron lines, large rubber bands are usually used all the way around. Tandem rubber bands are used for tandem main canopies.

PD recommends that the line stows should be tight enough for it to take 8-12 pounds of pressure to release each stow.

The small rubber bands are 1 1/4" x 3/8" x .070, the large rubber bands are 2" x 3/8" x .070, and the tandem rubber bands are 2" x 5/8" x .070.

Must Have for PD Owners
Use these bands all the time and they really don't break. I usually have to look for wear and tear and then break them off the d-bag myself. These are what PD recommends so if you have a PD canopy you should own these.

Doesn't Hurt to Have Your Own Rubber Band Stash
Never hurts to have extra rubber bands on hand! I've already replaced a couple of old ratty rubber bands on my D-bag with these and they feel like much better quality. Haven't had any issues with my lines or any breaking yet! I feel like this bag will last me a while, so the price is great for what you get.

Rubber band, man!
These are strong, good, and decently priced. No problems double-stowing with the larger size. Definitely seem to be a better quality than the broken ones I see laying on the packing mat.

A+
What can I say really? Everyone needs these. Multiple sizes, I went with the larges to double wrap my stows, and the price is right. Really can’t go wrong with this purchase.

Strong and of good quality
The bands are of good quality and pretty strong. I've seen other rubber bands that seem to be weaker (easier to stretch) these are not. They are of good quality and strong.
The bag is really cheap and one should always have rubber bands!

Bought one of each Size
Rubber bands! Everyone needs them, and now you've got them.
Good quality - come in a nice bag - and they're sure to get you some friends at the dropzone.
Why question whether that raggedy band will hold for your next jump - it's good to have plenty on hand to replace it.

Buy in bulk!
Buy these. A pound of rubber bands is the minimum kit. Enough for you and enough for a friend in need.

They work.
As per what others have said, these work. What more do you expect from a rubber band? And you get a huge pile for a good price. Sold!

They're rubber. They hold your d-bag closed. Done!
They're rubber. In a band-shape. They stretch. They can break. And they can hold your d-bag closed. That pretty much meets all the expectations I had.

Great quality and durability.
Great Quality, they last a long time. My bag has been sitting in the Arizona heat in my locker for over a year and they still are great quality, not deteriorating or anything. I get quite a few jumps off of each one.

Beware of band bandits...
Great for stows, cheapest you'll find (at least from any skydiving company i can find), and they don't stink like some bands do. The only problem you'll have is people seeing that you have so many and coming to steal them!
