Canopy Reline w/Inspection

Note: This prices does not include the lines from the manufacturer. The $95 price is for the labor for the inspection and reline of any full canopy. Prices for individual line replacements, steering line replacements and relines including the linesets are below. We also have the more popular reline prices, including the lines, listed individually in the Parachute Maintenance section of this site.
Most parachutes should be entirely relined every 500-700 jumps. Steering lines should be replaced every 250-350 jumps. Individual line replacement may be necessary due to snags, unusual wear or if a single line breaks.
Prices as follows:
$50 new steering lines (middle and lower section);
$20 replace individual line;
$325 complete inspection and reline of Performance Designs canopies with HMA, Vectran or Spectra;
$285 complete inspection and reline of Performance Designs canopies with Dacron;
$475 complete inspection and reline of Performance Designs tandem canopies;
$325 complete inspection and reline of HiPerUSA canopies with black HMA;
$325 complete inspection and reline of Icarus canopies with Vectran;
$320 complete inspection and reline of Aerodyne sport canopies with Spectra, HMA or Dacron;
$425 complete inspection and reline of Aerodyne tandem canopies with Spectra, HMA or Dacron;
$475 complete inspection and reline of HOP330 tandem canopies with Spectra;
$95 inspection and reline entire canopy of all other manufacturers (plus line cost from manufacturer). -
Main Canopy Inspection
$25.00A full inspection of your main canopy and its deployment system. This is recommended every 100 jumps and is meant to supplement your general inspection each time you repack your main.

ChutingStar riggers inspect the main risers, links, lines, bartacks, line attachment points, canopy fabric, stitching, main deployment bag, grommets and pilot chute system. Measuring of the line trim will also be completed for canopies with Spectra and Dacron lines. -
Main Canopy Patch/Repairs
$40.00Canopy patches, line attachment replacement and seam repairs are some of the services offered. ChutingStar keeps numerous colors and types of canopy fabric, links and line in stock for immediate repairs.

Priced at $40 per canopy patch. Other repairs and/or complicated canopy patches are charged at an hourly rate of $60 per hour. -
Replace/install Metal or Soft Links
$10.00ChutingStar can replace/install metal or soft links with slider bumpers on your main or reserve canopy.

$250.00Replacement lineset for any Blade or Nitro canopy by HiPerUSA. This is a factory replacement lineset from HiPerUSA. Full lineset of A, B, C, D and steering lines. No sewing required for installation. All HiPerUSA linesets are entirely pre-sewn and are ready for installation. A full line-map with instructions is provided with each lineset.

Available in 400-pound black Technora with 600-pound black Dacron steering lines or in 450-pound tan Technora with 1000-pound tan Technora steering lines.
