The VISO II is a digital hand altimeter & electronic logbook.
It stores detailed altitude information about the last jump for later review along with a daily jump counter. The unit's electronic logbook stores information about the last 200 jumps.
The VISO II has an easy-to-use backlight for night jumping that can remain on for several hours. The VISO II includes a Velcro hand mount.
The Viso gloves shown in the product photos are sold separately as well as a spare battery and the Protektor.

The Viso II is now water resistant. For extra protection of your Viso II for intentional water landings or pond swooping, add the Protektor case from ChutingStar.com. It is a two-piece, clam-shell design that keeps the water out of your Viso II and still allows full functionality of the unit and visibility of the screen interface. It also protects your Viso II from accidentally dropping the altimeter.
A spare battery set can also be added to the order.

This altimeter has all the quality and features that a novice or intermediate skydiver could want. It is accurate, quick, and feels like it is not there. I purchased the Viso 2 along with the black gloves that are optional, and any way you do mount it, gloves or not, it is extremely comfortable. Only one small downside to this product is that if you are not in freefall for more than 4 seconds, it does not register the (quite obviously small) hop and pop.
