The Triathlon is a seven-cell, zero-porosity ram-air parachute, designed for skydivers who want one parachute that does it all. The Triathlon is a user-friendly parachute with exceptional packing, opening, flying, and landing characteristics. The Triathlon has achieved a superb reputation for dependably soft and consistent on-heading openings.
The Triathlon is available in 3 different versions: Triathlon, Triathlon Hybrid and Triathlon CRW. Available in sizes of 99, 120, 135, 150, 160, 175, 190, 210, 220 and 260. Triathlon canopies available with Dacron, Spectra or HMA lines.
Available on the Triathlon is the Aerodyne-exclusive zero porosity canopy fabric called ZPX. This honeycomb structured fabric is thinner and lighter, yet stronger than the regular ZP fabric we all know. This creates two great features: a 15 to 20% smaller pack volume (in comparison to a same sized ZP canopy) and a much easier pack job on even a brand new canopy (It feels like you are packing a 500-jump ZP canopy). Aerodyne main canopies have the option of zpX fabric. This extra option is $200.
