This book contains lot of information about modern parachutes (gliding wings) and lof of specifications. Unfortunately, the book is not so thick as first volume (414 pages compared to 594 pages).
Large part of the book consists of gear specifications (harnesses/containers, canopies). Contains very helpful information about canopy patching rules (exclusively, all cases of damages and how-to-fix). I like it!
Packing instructions was stolen from current manufacturers (I like PD too ;) in pictures).
Lot of supplementary info (TSOs, ACs, CFR citations). Helpful, but I like to read original documents ;)
Newbie riggers should start from this book (as me). Having read the book - I am now able to answer much of questions which could not be answered before even in my home DZ.
Cost is almost 50$ which is much. Paper is thin, cover as well. Actually, you buy information which is costless. (Posted on 2/24/11)
