This is the bible of rigging. Having read the book - I definitely decided to become a rigger. Even by crazy cost.Durability Durability Price Price Quality Quality
The book contains exclusively necessary information about parachute systems: harnesses, containers, canopies. It's jammed with lot of information and specs (materials, hardware, accessories, tools, etc.). This books states how to establish your own loft, locate it properly and layout. This "bible" should become handbook for every rigger who wants to grow up every day, every hour, every pack...
Even though the book keeps the information about ...1984 systems, you must read it in order to pass rigger certification completely. Some of information is repeated in the second volume, but it's necessary and important information.
This is not "my opinion" book, this is "specification" book. This means that author does not tell about his impressions: he states approved and explained information. No yellowpages!
Cost is almost 50$ which is much. Paper is thin, cover as well. Actually, you buy information which is costless. (Posted on 2/24/11)
