The Conceptus Tongue Switch is compatible with the Canon Digital Rebel, XT, XS, XSI and XTI, as well as most Canon film cameras. This switch is also compatible with the HypEye D Pro Expansion Kit.

This is a mouth-operated, totally electronic shutter release for use with any still camera with a remote shutter release jack. The Tongue Switch is comprised of a 1/2 inch pressure-sensitive switch mechanism, a 1 inch flattened and bite-resistant stem, a 36 inch coaxial wire, and a 2.5mm plug with a 90 degree elbow bend. It is configured so that the pressure-sensitive switch face is always oriented towards the user's tongue, regardless of the direction of insertion into the mouth, thus allowing the wire to be routed to the left or right. The Tongue Switch is securely sealed and waterproof. Since the switch is mouth-operated, it does not interfere with grips on exits or in freefall, or with canopy deployment, control and emergency procedures.

The Conceptus 2.5mm Tongue Switch is compatible with the following cameras:

Canon EOS 550D, Canon EOS 1000D / 500D / 450D / 400D / 350D / 300D (Canon EOS Rebel T2i, Canon Kiss X4, Rebel, Rebel XT, Rebel XTi, Rebel XSi, Rebel XS, Rebel T1i & Canon Powershot G10 Digital SLR Cameras) and the HypEye D Pro Expansion Kit or Photo Kit.
