The construction of the Smart uses high tensile strength 0-3 cfm low porosity ripstop fabric, spectra suspension lines and ample reinforcement tapes. Extra strength is obtained through the use of lateral reinforcement tapes between the line attachment points as well load distribution tapes that radiate from the steering line attachment points.
The Smart is certified under the US FAA TSO-C23d and the European ETSO-C23d.

Sensei (Custom in 12 weeks)

The Sensei is a partnership between the innovative design skills of Brian Germain, and Aerodyne’s outstanding production capabilities.

The Sensei has been extensively tested and tweaked to the max over the last 10 years, making the Sensei Project the longest test-piloting program of any ram air canopy in history. In order to shave some of the high magnitudes of drag experienced at high speeds, the Sensei has a 21-cell cross-braced design. This makes it a beautiful wing shape, hung on the lines of a seven cell. Twenty-eight tiny but incredibly strong suspension lines made from High Modular Aramid, coated for extra wear-resistance, are utilized for the preservation of energy during your swoop.
The exquisitely sculpted Airfoil is a novel “Fat-Tail” design, with a greater thickness at the trailing edge of the wing to create superior stability in rear risers, especially when pulling high “G’s” around the corner, down in the power-band. The reduced span at the trailing edge magnifies the toggle power by allowing earlier effect on the center cells as tail tension is applied.
The Sensei comes with 500 HMA lines in sizes 81, 91, 101, 111 and 121 sq ft.
Also available on the Sensei is the Aerodyne-exclusive zero porosity canopy fabric called ZPX. This honeycomb structured fabric is thinner and lighter, yet stronger than the regular ZP fabric we all know. This creates two great features: a 15 to 20% smaller pack volume (in comparison to a same sized ZP canopy) and a much easier pack job on even a brand new canopy (It feels like you are packing a 500-jump ZP canopy).
Aerodyne main canopies have the option of zpX fabric. This extra option is $200.

Pilot (Custom in 12 weeks)
$1,850.00This 9-cell canopy from Aerodyne is made of zero-p fabric and is available with 725 Spectra or 700 HMA line. The Pilot is known for its predictable on-heading openings, stable flight, responsive turns and strong flare.

With a lighter wing loading the Pilot is the ideal choice for a first canopy. Increase the wing loading and the Pilot becomes the favorite companion of the more experienced skydiver who enjoys the higher performance and faster turns it can produce. Canopy piloting schools recommend the Pilot for their training courses, because of it's flight characteristics.
Whether you deploy following RW or a wing suit flight, with a camera mounted on your helmet or a weight belt around the waist, the Pilot will put you in the saddle in the most comfortable and reliable way. The Pilot is a 9-cell ram-air canopy with top and bottom skins built from zero-porosity fabric for best performance and longevity. The relatively short lines make it quite responsive to turn input, without becoming radical.
Standard with each Pilot are soft links, new “lightweight” stainless steel grommets and color-coded line attachments for easier PRO packing.

The Mamba lines are made of 500 HMA. The Mamba opens with a smooth controlled snivel. The Aerodyne Mamba has a flat glide ratio, which gives you a higher chance to get back from a long spots.
This canopy is for experienced canopy pilots with hundreds to thousands of jumps. The Mamba has a long recovery arc in a front riser turn and is recommended for canopy pilots looking to progress to a crossbraced canopy and already have hundreds of jumps under Aerodyne's Vision or similar canopy.

$1,576.00Blade: Custom in 8 weeks. The Blade is a high speed canopy exclusively for very skilled pilots with considerable experience under high-speed elliptical parachutes. Optimum performance of this wing is in the range of 1.6 to 2.2 pounds per square foot.

A minimum experience level of 500 jumps is suggested because of these higher wing loadings. By greatly reducing drag, the Blade flies at substantially higher forward speed than other canopies of a similar size. During full glide the Blade reacts to toggle input very quickly, which makes it amazingly responsive. Front riser pressure is moderate, and the Blade can easily be held in a long dive.
The Blade is available in sizes of 58, 68, 78, 88, 98, 108 and 120 sq.ft. Prior to purchasing the 58 or 68 size, proof of experience and strict recommendations are absolutely required. The Blade comes equipped with soft connector links, nickel-plated slider grommets, and black Technora line. Please indicate stock number or upload custom order form below.

Depending upon wing loading and piloting, the 9-cell semi-elliptical Nitro can fly leisurely or extremely fast. Recommended wing loadings are to a maximum of 1.7 pounds per square foot. Less experienced skydivers should jump only at much lighter loadings.
