Larsen & Brusgaard continues to show why they are one of the most trusted and respected altimeter makers in the skydiving industry. The company's customer service is well-known as anyone who ever has an issue with one of their products can return it to their headquarters in Denmark for a repair or replacement at little to no cost.
Well now L&B has gone one step further for it's large U.S. market and has added a U.S. Service Center. Here are the details on how to have your L&B product serviced in the U.S. if you ever have an issue.

Once they approve the return, you will send the altimeter/audible in with a check to cover the charge for check/clean/repair/replacement and shipping for $35 to:

The way it works is this: there is a $10.00 fee for L&B USA to check, test and clean the unit. There is a $20.00 charge for repair/replacement, and $5.00 for shipping (USPS) and handling.
If the unit is repairable they will do so. If not, they will simply send you a new unit (unless the unit is badly damaged from neglect) at no extra charge other than what you have already paid.
If your unit and the problem with your unit, is covered by the limited warranty, L&B will return your check with the unit. If you think that is the case, enclose the original sales receipt (or a copy of it) as well. L&B will make sure you get your receipt back with the unit.
L&B USA can usually ship the unit back within 2-3 business days.
