The Viso and Viso II altimeters from Larsen & Brusgaard do not come mounted to the enclosed wrist or hand-mount straps. The Viso/Viso II can be put inside a set of Viso Gloves, but this video demonstrates how to mount the altimeter to the enclosed straps.

Cut two pieces of the wax cord into 1-foot sections and thread through the holes in the back of Viso/VisoII or through the holes in the Protektor (if being used).

Thread the wax cord through the closest holes in the strap and tie on the backside. Trim the tails to approximately 1”. Hide the tails behind the velcro.

Check the security of the mounting and the desired location on your wrist or hand.
