- Cool and Safe Mount
Removed the standard sticky GoPro Helmet mount for this Cookie Roller Mount. I am very very pleased by the quality of construction and the custom built metal parts. The mount significantly removes the possibility of a line snag or any sort of snag for that matter. The bottom portion of the camera housing is completely tucked into the mount with a seamless fit leaving a smooth lines and nothing jagged or pointy. The mounting instructions indicate placing the mount 8cm from the edge of the front of the helmet. I placed mine a considerable amount further back and the fit is just fine. The helmet is not in the video or photograph. If you are considering this mount I would say go for it. There is no change it will get knocked off as it is hard mounted. Light bumps or catching the camera housing on the door on climb out usually do not move the camera angle if the mount is securely fastened at the desired angle.
